11th October — Crystal Place Park & Triangle
On Friday, 11th October, Jackie Husain and her husband, Jeremy, took us back to Crystal Palace Park, this time to visit the upper levels and the Sphinxes where the old Crystal Palace once stood. This was followed by a walk round the surrounding historic streets, on the route of the Norwood Society's commemorative "Crystal Palace Triangle Blue Plaques Shops Trail", and then lunch in a popular French bistro. |
